here we go again

I decided to give preschool another try this year.  The first day finally arrived and we went on our merry way.  We even made it out of our neighborhood without the troops voicing their disapproval.  And then all of the sudden as we drove over the bridge Ellie said, "Mommy.  I'm so sorry but I just don't think that I'm going to be able to go to school today.  I tied my legs together with a string and I just can't walk out of the car."  I looked back, and she was right .... she had tied her legs together with a string and a knot.

I had a lot of fun with their outfits.  Several months ago I was flipping through a pricey catalog for children, and I realized that the same fabric was at Joann's.  I used a 40% off coupon (so I bought the fabric for $10).  Then I bought 3 plain white shirts from Target and just copied the appliques from the catalog and monogrammed them.  As long as you don't look too closely you probably wouldn't know that it was 1/10th the price.

We took the kids out the other night and Ben disappeared.  I found him all by himself trying to beat the highest score.
